Who is eligible to apply?
Students entering their junior or senior year may apply for all programs except pre-practical nursing which is available to seniors only.

Are there any expenses to attend Early Technical College?
Through the utilization of grants and scholarships, Early Technical College Scholars will not be required to pay tuition nor will they incur the expense of textbooks or tools/equipment.

How will students benefit from participating in the Early Technical College experience?
Students graduating from the ETC will have:

• Met high school graduation requirements
• Obtained TCAT program credentials and certifications
• The option to enroll directly into the adult TCAT program
• Increased maturity and independence
• Identified with a community of learners
• Enhanced their academic achievement
• Participated in work-related activities and experiences

Will I earn a CMCSS diploma and a TCAT diploma?
You will graduate with a CMCSS diploma only. You will have the opportunity to earn industry certifications from the TCAT, but you will need to continue your enrollment at the TCAT after high school in order to earn a TCAT diploma. Graduating as a CMCSS student in good standing at the TCAT, and submitting an enrollment application by March of your senior year, will allow you the opportunity to continue in the TCAT program upon CMCSS graduation.

10:30-11:00 Advisory, ACT Prep, Career and Success Training,etc
11:00-11:30 Lunch 
11:30-2:30 TCAT classes for Pharmacy Tech students
                   CMCSS online classes for Diesel, HVAC/R, and IEM/M students
2:30-5:30 TCAT classes for Diesel, HVAC/R, and IEM/M students                  
                CMCSS online classes for Pharmacy Tech students

If I start the program as a junior, will I have to reapply for my senior year?
Upon being admitted to Early Technical College, you will remain until you graduate, as long as you meet academic and discipline standards.

Is transportation provided?
CMCSS bus transportation is available to and from the TCAT for students who need it.

Is there a cost to attend the ETC at TCAT?
Between grants and scholarships as well as CMCSS funding, students may attend the ETC free of charge.  However, students must maintain a specific GPA for funding to continue from semester to semester.
